Role at TSSM:

Since starting with TSSM in 2020, Farween has been an integral member of the team.

Farween's role at TSSM is driven by her passion for all things health related. She is an impressive teacher with extensive experience in teaching VCE Psychology and Health and Human Development.

Farween understands what it takes to achieve excellent VCE results in these two subjects first hand. As a students years ago Farween achieved 48 for Psychology and Health and Human Development.

As a teacher, Farween is able to provide students with the critical subject knowledge that they need to achieve success in their VCE.

Farween is also a very effective writer who loves to prepare VCE resources that are used by many students and teachers alike.

Teaching Philosophy:

Farween believes that the key to successful learning involves two key elements: engagement and interest in the subject as well as mastery of the required key skills.

Consequently, her main focus is on making Psychology and Health and Human Development content interesting and relevant to students’ lived experiences.

She also prioritises subject skill development, such as applying knowledge to new contexts, and fostering students' answering technique and structure, to best promote their performance in SACs and exams.
